About Peaceful Willow's Courses
Are there any pre-requisites for study?
There are no prerequisites for standard courses. In some cases, advanced courses may be offered and these will require completion of the standard level course or details of sufficient experience with the area of study.
I don't live in Australia, can I do a Peaceful Willow course?
Certainly! Our courses are emailed to anywhere in the world. Some courses include resources and materials that need to be sent by mail, so take into account that the further away you live, the longer it will take to receive those materials.
Will I receive a qualification?
Peaceful Willow's Self-Study Courses are designed for personal development and enjoyment. They are not intended to provide you with professional skills but as it stands, there are no standards of competence in the Intuitive Services field. We highly recommend that learners join the PSI Association as an Initiate Member if they wish to develop as a professional intuitive services provider. The PSI Association is setting a worldwide standard in the Intuitive Industry and membership provides great support and resources for developing intuitives.
How long do the courses take to complete?
We expect students to complete a minimum of 1-2 hours of course work each week. Many courses require practical work and this may involve developing and practicing intuitive abilities and we understand that this takes time. During the course we want to see evidence of your attempts and progress but expect that much learning and practice will continue on an ongoing basis, after the course has been completed. We expect, at this stage, that most courses can be completed within 12 weeks but we will allow a maximum time-frame of 12 months. It is hard to guage exactly how long courses will take until we have had several students complete each course.
What is a PDF file?
The courses are sent as Adobe PDF files that you can read from your computer or print out and store in a binder. They include all the text and colour images relating to your course. You will need Adobe Reader to open the file - you can download it for free here:
What sort of assessment is involved?
Assessment will usually consist of one or more of the following: questions, tasks and journal entries. There's nothing to fear about our assessments as we mostly need to see that you understand the concepts and have undertaken the tasks. Most assessment tasks are very open-ended, which means we want to know your interpretation and how you apply the learning in a way that's meaningful to you. Assessment tasks and responses will be returned to Peaceful Willow via email. Instructions will be included with your course materials.
How much help will I get with the course?
The courses are designed to guide you through what you need to know and do without much assistance. You will receive feedback for each of your submissions and often questions will be posed to encourage you to explore something in more depth. You don't need to send responses to additional questions unless requested. Should anything in the course be unclear or you need help understanding something you have experience, you are welcome to email Peaceful Willow as any time using the guidelines found in the 'Course Instructions' sheet.
How do I enrol?
Simply pay for your course via Paypal and we we receive notification of payment we will send an email requesting enrolment details. Once these are received and you've confirmed your email address, you will receive your course materials via email. Any resources will be mailed to your address.
