Determination

Thoughts are powerful things. The brain responds to what you decide and tells your body to prepare for what is ahead. When you are determined to achieve something, your brain uses whatever information is stored in it to assist you. It stands ready to help you fulfil your goal. This is where affirmations work so well. You are in effect, programming your brain to understand, believe and carry out the affirmations. Being determined to achieve your goals means not allowing other people or issues to stand in your way.

There will be challenges. That is what life is about and that is how we learn. See them as challenges and not problems. Accept that they will be there, but don't accept defeat. Don't accept that you can't cope because you can. There is always an answer or an alternative for every problem. Sometimes you need to wait, sometimes you need to put in more effort but it is there.

Plan your steps but allow for life to change things. Be flexible and move with life like the weeping willow moves with the wind and you'll find that you will accomplish what you need to.

Use whatever resources are at your disposal - use all of them - to do what you must and put your time to good use. Avoid wastage and enjoy what you are doing. You will find that you succeed in achieving your goals.
