Encounters with Ann - Spirit Removal for "P"

There are two main parts to this spirit rescue story. The first is by Donna who became aware of a spirit through her husband's work colleague and an adventure unfolded over several months until Ann eventually made herself known to Ronnee in order to help her go home. Here's what happened...

A few months ago my husband was talking to a new work colleague (P) and discovered that he has a haunted granny flat. I was told that they regularly find a photo of their mother that hangs on the wall tilted to the side and the curtains opened. The only time this granny flat is used is when P's mother comes to stay. The mother is aware of the spirit and is happy to be in the unit when she visits. P's father is also aware of the spirit woman as he has seen her.
At the time my husband told me these details I realised I had an image in my mind of the woman - perhaps in her 60s, curly hair, light grey or white. At the time it was assumed that the presence related to the previous owners who had an elderly lady living in the granny flat. I told my husband that I could see the woman.
I hadn't done a spirit rescue via distance before so I asked my husband to have P take some photos of the granny flat. I have been waiting several months for my husband to give his email address to his colleague and have thought about this situation several times.
Then this past weekend many things started to happen...
I came home and suddenly thought about P and his spirit occupant (at this stage I had forgotten about her description). I thought to myself, "If I keep thinking about her it might call her to me", like it was a bad thing. Then I thought, "well if that can happen what do I need the photos for?". The day was busy and I soon forgot about even thinking this.
Over the last two or three days I've been feeling the presence of a spirit around my home, not physically but just fleeting awareness here and there. I felt no threat and was quite content to see if anything would come of it.
Yesterday I made my 9-year-old daughter a crystal wand and gave it to her when she got home from school. She placed it in her room and closed the door to keep her 2-year-old sister out. My husband came home from work and I wanted to show him the wand but when I got to my daughter's room it was locked. The bolt had been closed (it's on the outside of the door from the previous occupants) and the little handle had been unscrewed and couldn't be found anywhere. After much questioning it seems no-one in the house was responsible for this, so I felt that this spirit I'd been picking up on must be responsible.
This morning I was sharing this experience on the Peaceful Willow forum and at the end of my message I realised that I had the image of a woman in my mind...in her 50s or 60s and I felt much stronger that it was 60s, with light or grey curly hair. I described her as calm and collected but was impelled to correct the latter to 'composed'.
About 2pm I walked around the house but didn't feel she was here and even wondered if she'd gone to school with my 9-year-old daughter as she seemed to have some sort of interest in her. I decided to wait until the kids came home from school. Then I typed what happened as I tried to pick up more information. At first there was nothing but soon enough my spirit visitor was sitting on a nearby chair.
This is what happened:
Where is she now? Ok I'm feeling she may be seated on the lounge chair to the right and slightly behind me and as I type this she says "Can't you see me?", confirming that she is indeed sitting there and is a little cheeky. However I feel the 'composure' is still a main trait she at least wants to be known for - legs crossed lady-like, 'slacks' on, slim, hands resting on her knees and back straight. The hair I feel is permed and precisely as she would like it. She has at least one ring on her finger - an expensive-looking large dress ring...sorry I'm corrected that it is an 'engagement' ring. She responds, "Thankyou Dear."
I get a 'family' feel but know this woman is not my family. She feels connected to my 9-year-old daughter as a granddaughter though. At the time of her death her husband was no longer around.
I ask for a name and get two names "Margaret" and "Ann". This confuses me because my great-grandmother's name was Margaret Ann but I know that this is not her.
I was confused with some things not making sense, for example there was a "visitor" feeling about this woman and the situation felt different to other spirits that I've encountered who need help to cross over. I couldn't get info about why she was here so I asked my guides if I was to cross her over - they said "no". I asked if she is already crossed over - they said "no". Hmmm. I felt a "not yet" about her readiness to cross over. I had started getting tired and was yawning, plus there was a storm approaching so I left it there and turned off the computer.
My husband came home from work and I was talking to him about this when he mentioned his work colleague (P) again and that their mother had come to stay in the granny flat this past weekend. The photo frames were still being moved and so on. I told him that just yesterday I felt like I should ring my husband at work to remind him about the email address so I could get the photos of the granny flat.
All of a sudden, what seems like a million little puzzle pieces came together in my head and I exclaimed, "This is the same woman!!" I then remembered my thought about calling her to me on the weekend and I remembered that I'd described the woman in the granny flat exactly like the spirit woman in my home. I was seeing the same woman!
I also realised that for the last two days, every time I sat at the computer I just had to put my feet flat on the floor rather than up on the bottom of the computer desk as I normally would. It was like I was being 'told' to do it each time I sat at the desk so I figured it must be the guides having me do this for 'grounding' as I'd been channelling a bit. I now realised that it wasn't my guides at all but this lady correcting how I sat!
I also clicked that this woman is a spirit that likes to move things physically - the photo and curtains in the granny flat and the locking of my daughter's bedroom door. She likes to make her presence known.
I then felt the connection between her and my eldest daughter is that she's like a granddaughter the woman had, I expect about the age the granddaughter was when this woman passed away. This is where the "visitor" feeling has been coming from and why the woman is quite content not to be crossed over. She is very content to do her thing around the flat and visiting us! I suspected that my husband's work colleague had grown children or sons. My husband confirmed that they have three boys, the youngest of which is now a teenager.
Everything popped into my head, one thing after another and I only had positive feelings of confirmation about it all. It made so much sense. So now what do I do with her? I also felt that I had not received any photos yet because I was going to be able to do this without them. Obviously I've already connected with this lady and that would have been the purpose of seeing photos anyway.
I sent the above information to Ronnee (co-owner of Peaceful Willow) for her opinion. As I was sending it I thought to myself, "I wish we could just find that screw handle from the lock on (my daughter's) door" because it's been bugging me and every day I've looked for it. Funnily enough a couple of times I felt to look in the toilet but couldn't see it on the floor anywhere. So now while sending the email my daughter tells me she found the screw...lying in between two spare toilet rolls on the toilet roll holder. My 2-year-old had taken the top roll off to use it and the screw was indented into the roll below. What a place to find it!
I also heard back from my husband that P's mother had stayed in the granny flat again on the weekend and the pictures were moved again. He also said it's always cold in there. I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to do something about her.
Ronnee mentioned that she felt I may need her help to cross this spirit woman over as she could be stubborn about it. So I thought I would get the photos of the granny flat and pass them on to her.
A couple of month's passed and my husband was going to visit P's house and I was to drop him off. This is what I sent to Ronnee about what happened:

I got to briefly go to P's house on Saturday afternoon to drop (my husband) off for a boy's night. P is the one with a spirit living in the granny flat and that spirit visited here, locked (my daughter's) door etc. Well P was keen to show me the granny flat and I'd almost forgotten about the whole thing. He pointed to one of the photos that is always being turned crooked...it's of his grandmother as a girl. I only glanced at it as I moved into the rooms. I didn't really feel much at all and was also a little awkward because I've only ever dealt with spirits at my own house.
Now we were all assuming that the spirit is of an elderly woman who lived in the flat before P and his wife bought the house. Because I couldn't feel anything in particular I thought that the woman may be keeping her distance from me because she is aware that I can help her to cross over. We were chatting and I then realised that the hairs were standing up on my arms every time I spoke. The photo that P pointed out when I first walked in, of his grandmother as a girl, started coming to mind constantly so I decided to go over to it. It's a rather eerie photo and P said some of his visitors feel the same. Imagine a girl about 9 years old, dressed in early 1900's dress, sitting on a chair that resembles a rocking chair and looking straight into the camera lens. I mentioned that it really has a 'presence' and then I felt I had to ask for P's grandmother's name. When this lady spirit was at my house and I was picking up on her, I also asked for a name and kept getting 'Margaret Ann'. I thought I was making it up because that's my great-grandmother's name and I knew this was not her. Well, at P's house he started trying to recall his grandmother's name and said 'Ann' which started bells going off in my head. I asked if he knew her middle name and he said 'Margaret'! I was so excited and confirmed that it's his grandmother that is around, not another lady!
Having said all that, I'm still unsure why she is hanging around him so strongly and constantly moving his pictures. I also wonder why you picked up that you would need to help with crossing this woman over. Could it be that his grandmother is not crossed over? (I'd totally forgotten that the guides told me she is not crossed over). I also wonder if there may indeed be other spirits around because P said that a few weeks ago he was outside and definitely saw a boy spirit briefly. I definitely know his grandmother is around and I do still feel there is something to be done....but not sure if the issue is his grandmother or other possible spirits.
A few weeks went on again and I hadn't had much contact with Ronnee so nothing more was done about P's grandmother. I had heard via my husband that since my visit, there was a smell of jasmine flowers whenever they entered the granny flat instead of the older musty smell.
Then I was finally catching up with Ronnee via Skype and the following happened, as relayed by Ronnee...
The Rescue - by Ronnee
While having a business meeting with Donna (over internet), I kept hearing someone breathing over the microphone with a voice behind it. I knew it was not Donna. I asked Donna who the spirit was that was around her because I could feel that this was a deliberate effort to get my attention. I saw the woman as being between 50's-70's with curly grey hair. She is a very lovely lady who is also patient.
The following is what I typed as I performed the rescue...
As a little girl she loved jasmine flowers. She associates great love with jasmine flowers. She would sit with flowers for hours. She'd sit there in the sunshine watching the flowers and bees. She just loved the smell, but she couldn't get too close to the smell. Not sure if it was too strong for her or if it would irritate her a little. She says: "My time with the Jasmine gave me peace and I always made sure I kept Jasmine around me everywhere I went. They will smell jasmine when I am present". She refers to the family being able to smell jasmine when she visits them.
She was waiting for me. She said she was told that I would help her. She got this information from Donna. Both Donna and I are suddenly feeling cold and it's a very hot day.
The name Ann came to me. She says: "I stayed to look after the babies." Major chills are running down the entire back of my body. Her accent has a slight English touch to it or she speaks clearly. Maybe there is a connection to England there, or the family or Ann herself may have originally come from England. She's showing me that she spent her life in Australia so it's likely that there is some connection to England rather than her coming from there. Or perhaps she is just showing that she spent most of her life here.
Ronnee: Ok so Ann it's time to go home?
Ann: "Yes please. I am no longer needed here and I feel drawn to return as if I have 'duties' or things to do there". She's been very patient I feel as this feeling to return is not new, but she says she was happy to wait with the family until the time was right. She refers to 'The lovely Donna' as coming to help and she knew that it was time to go.
I have a male guide with me who is escorting Ann across. She has a husband awaiting her or someone who was a love to her in this lifetime. He's lovely too. He's tall and with thinning hair. Both are such lovely people. Both are beautiful, gentle people who are very proud of their family and how they are doing. They both wave goodbye and cross over. The door is closed behind them. I hear a soft 'Thank You'.

Feedback: The rescue happened on a Friday and P didn't find out about his grandmother crossing over until the following week. He confirmed that over the weekend he'd noticed a clearer feel in the granny flat and his wife was happy to enter, where before it made her quite uncomfortable to be in there.
Afterword by Donna
This was a very interesting experience because there were so many details over several months. My main source of confusion which delayed the end result, was to assume that P's grandmother was crossed over. Just because a family member in spirit is around does not mean they are just visting from the other side. The main sign indicating that she was not crossed over was the fact that she seemed to be 'living' with her grandson rather than visting. I also realised the implications of assuming that I wasn't to help in this situation - as Ann picked up on me expecting Ronnee to cross over the spirit who was around so she patiently waited until she had the opportunity to maker herself known to Ronnee. All in all, I'm glad that Ann has made her way home and I'm sure she's moved on to her next adventure.
