A Guide's View on Spellcasting

One day I was having a discussion with Donna. She is psychic channel and we were talking about spell casting. The guides have taught me that we all have the power to bring about positive change and effect into our lives through positive thought. This is how spells work so I was wondering about the necessity for it. While discussing this with Donna, some guides came through to help with the answers. There are some comments from me before the guides came through fully, but this is how it went:
Ronnee: Anything positive that comes to us comes through our attitude to life and our achievements. So how can a spell cast by anyone else have any real effect? From here the guides came through me quite strongly to answer our questions.
Guide: The answer is in the belief or the faith the recipient has in the spell caster. This has been going on since the dawn of time. People go to someone else that they feel they can believe in when they can't believe in themselves.
Ronnee: That's not to say they don't work, or to say that there's no place for it because it can be great, but it's obviously more effective, more powerful and more beneficial for people to believe in themselves and for themselves. So when and how should a person know when to approach another person to cast a spell or for help with wish fulfilment.
Guide: If you truly are having difficulty 'feeling' your strength - your power - then it can be beneficial to go to another who represents that power to you. Use it sparingly though because it should be used as an introduction to your own personal power. Once it has started, 'feel' it and know that you can achieve anything for yourself. Use it to introduce yourself to the feeling of excitement associated with knowing that the future will be okay and then work hard to continue feeling that way yourself without aids such as spells because the reality is that no matter what is brought your way, nothing will be too hard for you to cope with - nothing will be insurmountable.
The spell caster should be of genuine spiritual nature, a person who feels for others. They must be a person who has no desire to gain for themselves, but only for others. They must feel true and complete love for others and for the person they cast the spell for otherwise it will be ineffectual. Only the true power of love and the power of generous giving for another and specifically for the positive growth of another is able to bring about the positive changes people require.
Anything else will effect karma and therefore the universe in the opposite manner. As with any spiritual worker, if you have the slightest feeling that the individual is working for financial or egotistical gain - for any self gain - then seek another who is enlightened for the truly enlightened will work for others, not for themselves. It is unfortunate, but it is the nature of the physical world that some will be working for true 'good' and some will work with the illusion of doing good. It must be this way for nature must be balanced. The people who are truly tuned in will always find the true spiritualist. The ones who are not will always find the lessons.
Donna: What are genuine spells that people could seek to help empower themselves? e.g. I imagine an example of an ingenuine spell would be to make another person like you or love you.
Guide: According to universal law the only 'spells' which are acceptable are those which will contribute to the positive growth of oneself or another. To do otherwise is to break universal laws as they are inflicting pain upon another and this is never acceptable. We wish to clarify that spells are also same as 'wishes' requests, hopes, goals.
Guide: Willing or wishing for another to like you or love you is to attempt to manipulate another. The other will like or love you regardless if it is in their nature and their life path to do so. If it is not, then this spell will not work. The other person's guides would not allow it and the other person would be working against nature. No person will work against nature for long because it does not 'feel' right and they will eventually move away.
Some have the ability with their energy to encourage others to work against nature and move towards another. They can temporarily blind them to reality, but this will always end in failure and a lesson for the manipulator. So be it. It is deserved.
But one should always remember that if they should choose to take this course, then there is also recompense for the pain that is caused to the one whom they seek to manipulate. That is a karma they cannot escape even if nature rights itself and the manipulated person leaves the relationship.
Donna: So confirming that spells are okay if they contribute to one's own development - an example would be a spell for self-confidence.
Guide: Yes. Spells are like confirmations. They work on the physical part of the brain to convince it of something that it otherwise does not believe. In this way they can be useful, but so can a sentence.
Donna: 'mind over matter'
Guide: Yes, mind over matter is an apt description.
Donna: ok...I'm not sure I can think of more to ask about.
Guide: Then we say goodbye and will return to help with information should it be necessary. Always remember you are loved.
Donna: Thank you very much.
Notes about the guides who came through: There were 3 guides. They appeared and felt to be of Aztec origin or similar. Beautiful colours came through such as turquoise, gold and especially a red/brown colour.
The middle one wore a big headdress the others stood on either side of him. They were all male. I'm not sure who they are, but the middle one had a feeling of chief, one had a feeling of "advisor" - spiritual perhaps - and the third...not sure, but of equal standing.
