"The Rhythm of Life"

These are compassionate hands
Tender skin beats upon the drum
A rhythm that celebrates life
That joins all through the sounds
that echo across the land
and within the Earth
reaching in and drawing
upon the Earth's heart
to help celebrate this life
- this expression of life
that we hold at this moment
This expression that comes
from a past of many ages
many battles and triumphs
many cries of sorrow
and cries of joy
many births and rebirths
the death of the carcass
and the creation of new life
in the Oneness of All
that is True Life.
It is for this that the drum beats
- to feel the connection to the rhythm of life.
