Meditation: Burning Logs

This is a good general meditation for removing pain and moving on in life. It's especially good for long term grief that you've carried around with you and not found a way to remove.

This meditation works very well when sitting comfortably outside in a sunny spot, but it will work no matter where you are, of course. Make sure that you're comfortable and if you're inside, then have a blanket over you or be dressed warmly as your temperature will drop while you sit still meditating.

Imagine yourself feeling the sun on your skin. Feel it warming up gently. Light and heat destroys negativity and pain. The sun can heal you. Enjoy the warmth of the sun on relaxing you and healing your pain.

Feel or imagine the wind on your skin, the wind is change energy. The sun is going to burn away your pain, and the wind will blow it away.

Now see a fire burning in front of you and feel its heat. The fire is from the sun. It will burn the pain and remove it. On the fire in front of you, you will see logs. The logs are your pain. The sun will burn the logs.

Each log that you put on the fire will be for a particular hurt and when that log has burned down and the wind blown it away you will be healed and the pain removed. Keep burning logs until you've finished. The sun will heat them and the wind will keep blowing until you are done.

You can now move onto tomorrow feeling free.
