Making Changes to Attract Success
How we dress, act and speak affects how people see us. By making just small changes in different areas of our lives, we can attract more success. For example, someone who wishes to be taken seriously in a business-like way can have more success by wearing outfits such as a suit or well-fitting jacket, top and pants/skirt with a pattern such as herringbone or pinstripes. Whereas someone who wishes to be seen as relaxed, comfortable or 'free and easy' will likely be seen that way by wearing mid-tones such as soft blues, greens and natural autumn colours. The fabric is likely to be soft to the touch and in appearance and may be flowy, light and comfortable.
Making the Changes
If you want to change your persona, look at someone who you believe is the epitome of how you wish to be perceived. Watch how they behave, how they speak, how they move and how they look. A person who wants to be seen as an up-and-coming professional will not walk around in trackpants or slippers. How you dress and the colours you choose will make a difference not only to others, but also to yourself.
The change that you require will be a gradual thing. You need to make a small change each day. This could be something small such as adding a new colour to your wardrobe that you would not normally wear or a different style of clothing, a speech pattern or habit you wish to change. Once you have started making that change, continue with it until it becomes a part of you and then move onto the next one. You will be amazed at how quickly it works. We can change easily with a small amount of determination and the wish to make positive changes to achieve the goals we want.
Many people become comfortable with a particular style and are afraid to change because they fear the comments and reactions of those around them. The best way to deal with this is to be open and accepting of your changes and then others will be too. Positive change is a good thing and those who care about you will accept you and applaud you. Those who do not support your changes are likely to be people who find it difficult to make their own. Do not let that stop you. You can cope with it a step at a time.
There are professionals who can help you with this too. An image consultant or classes in personal development can help you find the right changes for you.
Good luck with your transformation!!
