| February | Around the Home | Creating a warm and comfortable living space is something a lot of us are always striving for, so this month let's get into action to spruce up that bedroom, loungeroom or even the garden. Do you have something to share in regards to outdoors and gardening, home decorating, handyman tips, feng shui tips and anything else that our readers could find useful for their home? |
| March | Celebrations & Anniversaries | This is a popular month for birthdays and celebrations so we thought we'd have some fun and get creative. Let's see what ideas and suggestions we can come up with - maybe some planning guides or even some stories of special occassions - have you got some ideas or stories to share? |
| April | Food Glorious Food | Where do we start? Have you been itching to get healthy from the inside out? Would you like tips on preserving, once a month cooking, raw foods, healthy snacks, kid friendly foods, shopping hints and more? Are you a naturopath, dietician or someone who has something to share about food-related topics? We'd like to look at balance and getting back to nature this month so all submissions of this 'nature' are welcome! |
| May | Hints & Tips | This month is a free-for-all for sharing "What Works" - around the house, for general life, relationships, work, family, career, study and even spiritual tips! Practical and useful are the keywords during May. So if you've got some advice to share, anything that can make someone's life a little easier, more streamlined, and so on, please get in touch! |
| June | Travel | Ahhh, let's tune into the vibes of relaxation, getaways and cultural experiences. Some will be heading for Summer vacations while others will be grabbing their Winter woolies and sitting by a nice warm fire. We hope to explore various types of holidays and locations, plus the practicalities - financial matters, health insurance, safety and protection. If you are in the travel industry or are an experienced traveller we'd love to hear from you! |
| July | Services & Volunteers | During July we're paying our respects to those who donate their time and efforts towards helping others, whether in a small or large way - every good act and kind word makes a difference! Let's see what we can learn from others and how we might be able to leave our own footprints in the sand. |
| August | Pets | Family is very important and this month we'll explore topics relating to our furry, feathered, web-footed or even scaly animal friends - our pets! This will be a great month for looking at aspects of pet ownership and care, including a look at alternative therapies for our beloved little friends. |
| September | Renewal | Times are changing and many of us are reaching a stage where we're ready for transformation and renewal. This may be a large-scale revitalisation process or simply a need to refresh our mind, body and spirit - to reconnect with nature and your own vitality and purity. Let's explore how we can cleanse, refresh and renew ourselves this month and step into October feeling like a lighter, happier, healthier person! |
| October | Alternative Lifestyle | Sustainable living and eco-friendly practices are no longer the 'fringe' attitudes - they are a mainstream reality. This month we hope to look at all sorts of issues and topics like alternative energy sources, future ideas and what? coming up in terms of sustainable living choices, organics, horticulture, farming and so on. We'd like everyone to get on board this month and share what you know, that can help us move back to the lifestyles and actions that may just save our existence on this planet. |
| November | Craftsmanship | The work of talented craftmen (and women!) can bring us great joy, appreciation and add a special touch to our surroundings. So this month we're looking into craftsmanship - woodworking, glasswork, pottery and ceramics, and anything else interesting we come across! |
| December | Crafts & Hobbies | This month we explore the more personal aspect of creativity, through the crafts and hobbies we engage in that feed our creative side and keep us happy. Creativity is an important part of our spirit and something everyone can engage in, in one way or another. So let's explore topics associated with crafts and hobbies this month, including of course some Christmas creativity! |
