Who We Are

Peaceful Willow officially began in early 2006, after the universe brought Ronnee Ruselle and Donna Thomson together to meet and begin a lifetime of work and service on behalf of spirit/light/love or whatever you call 'truth'.

Peaceful Willow is not just a website, it is a concept and a source of information and education that will be ever-growing and expanding. While the website is our current major 'presence', we will soon be more active 'in person' throughout Australia and other countries.

The Peaceful Willow website was created to be an online sanctuary where you are free to explore without fear of criticism - a place where you can feel at home. This is how we came to find our name Peaceful Willow - thinking about sitting under a beautiful shady willow by the water's edge on a sunny day, pondering life and the nature of the universe. Ahhh...can? you just feel it?

Our Beliefs

It's our goal to empower people who are seeking truth, knowledge, understanding and finding their place in the world - especially during this time of increasing awareness that the universe is much more than meets the eye - and so are you!

We cater to people of all backgrounds, beliefs and locations because our message is pure and comes from spirit, without any 'spin' put on it by particular 'new age' or religious beliefs. Many can sense the positive energy of Peaceful Willow and are drawn here at the right time in their personal journey, often synchronistically led here by their guides.

What We Do

Inform & Educate - The information, whether via our extensive 'Articles' section, 'Ask an Expert' columns, or 'Self-Study Courses', is designed to help you live a modern, balanced life with awareness and understanding of yourself, a connection with nature and all living creatures, plus the truth of our energetic and powerful universe. You can be assured that you won't find any confusing 'fantasy' and 'frills' here that lags over from the 'new age' era. There is no need to 'hype up' what is natural.

Bring People Together - Even more important to some people than the educational side of our work is the feeling of connection to others who are like-minded and can understand what they are going through. The 'Forum' is home to many supportive and loving individuals who are learning and pondering many issues, questions and experiences. The internet is bringing people together from all corners of the world to share a united experience. There's a huge sigh of relief for many people when they come across Peaceful Willow because they finally have somewhere they can be themselves.

Encourage Awareness - Yes, this comes through education but this is more than about education...it is about learning to re-connect with nature and the planet that is your home. It is also about living a balanced life - with both a physical and spiritual awareness and presence in your day-to-day life. It's about looking around and seeing how you can contribute and share love and positive energy - leaving your mark on the world in any number of big or small ways - with animals, plants, the environment, the planet herself and of course with your fellow brothers and sisters.

Our Projects

The Website - This is our major focus at this time and we expand and adjust it to continually meet the needs of our readers to provide you with a range of resources and information. We centre the site around monthly themes that focus on important messages or awareness and add a range of 'Feature Articles' to the homepage. This gives the Peaceful Willow site a magazine feel and provides a fresh new feel each and every month. You can see our upcoming topics on our 'Article Themes' page. Each month we also have a Full and New moon astrology report from Kelly Surtees and monthly competitions to enter just for fun!

Courses - It's time for more in-depth learning on Peaceful Willow and as such, Ronnee and Donna are currently hard at work developing and writing several courses that you will be able to purchase and complete in your own time. They are designed to be practical and teach through experience where possible. You will find the courses a valuable addition to your learning. For more information see the 'Courses' section.

Tarot and Oracle Cards - Our talented team are using their years of expertise to put together a range of beautiful tarot and oracle cards for you to use in a variety of ways. You can perform readings, pull a card to answer a question and meditate with them. They are designed with you, our website visitor in mind and will be a great aid to helping you in various areas of your life. Based upon themes of nature and energy and designed to help you with life in general, they have a more modern 'feel' and use than traditional esoteric tarot subjects and layouts. We hope that you will be pleased with them. It takes quite a lot of time and work to create a set so they won't be available for a while, but we will let you know when they are.

PSI Association - This stands for 'Professional Standards for Intuitives' and was founded by Ronnee Ruselle to cater to people who are in the intuitive services industry as readers or practitioners, or learning to be a professional in the industry. This Association is very much needed to bring a new level of ethical standards and professionalism throughout the world. Where Peaceful Willow caters to the general public and personal development, the PSI Association caters to the professional level as well as being an information source for clients looking for professional intuitive services. Sharing Love Heals Others - We have created a new classification on our Forum where you can share your warm thoughts and wishes for those who are having troubles or perhaps sending loving energy to help them feel better. You can also share your exciting news and blessings so that we can all rejoice for you.

Supporting Worthy Causes - Peaceful Willow supports causes that assist indigenous groups and the planet itself along with its beautiful creatures and we welcome your assistance. You will find our 'Worthy Causes Links' page in our 'General Resources' menu. We hope you'll take the time to contribute to one of the many important causes, even by promoting awareness with your individual network rather than contributing money.

Contributing Articles - We welcome your submissions for any articles category on the site, whether an expert in your field or someone wishing to share personal experience with a subject. Find out how to get your articles published and even how to become a PW team member by clicking here.

Supporting the Site - What a labour of love this has been for the past two years with hundreds of hours work and paying for everything out of our own pockets. Spreading the Word - We rely on word of mouth as our major source of visitors so we encourage you to tell your family, friends and associates about us, as there really is something for everyone. If you receive our monthly newsletter an easy way to spread the usefulness of Peaceful Willow is to forward a newsletter to others (though we don't encourage mass emailing).

Advertising & Promotion - We now accept advertising on Peaceful Willow with a range of options and pricing, so if you have a business this can be a great way to get exposure to a rapidly increasing audience. We are also about to launch the 'Peaceful Willow Services Directory' where you'll be able to get your own Profile Page and be listed according to location and any relevant service categories. For those of you who are interested in the facts and figures, we keep updated statistics in the purple footer at the bottom of the homepage - this includes our average monthly unique visitors and number of hits. Even though we are based in Australia, our readership is international. Currently we have monthly visitors from approximately 58 different countries worldwide. To get an idea of who is dropping by, the top 12 countries at the time of writing, are the United States, Australia, Canada, Austria, Hong Kong, Great Britain, South Africa, China, Germany, Thailand, India and Singapore.
